I love to have my norms, beliefs and ideas challenged. I believe in continual growth and learning.

I'm social, curious, keen to learn, see, feel, experience all that is to offer. Seeking to constantly build yourself through experience and learning, to ultimately becoming the "best" version of (or at least perpetually improving) yourself. Do what makes you happy, but do it in a way that makes you grow.

But mostly I love to have fun. To laugh. To see and make others laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new minds, hearts and souls.
I love to learn through the ideas, opinions, experiences and lives of others. Travelling and travellers can teach you more than any book can.

I met some great people through CS while living in France. And now hosting the same kind of wonderful people at my home in JHB...
I've hosted waaaay more people than this site gives me credit for ;)

Interests

I love travel (obviously).
I'm a keen amateur photographer... B&W film which i develop myself
I like to hike and rock climb.
Food, friends, wine... all which leads to long discussions and debates.
Yoga is pretty neat as well.

Books: If I had the time I would read anything & everything I can get my hands on. I particularly enjoy the classics.
Movies: Yes! The classics. And arty, foreign, anything different.
Music: Rock is good. Especially psychedelic. Old and new. Some indie. Blues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There have been many, but nothing quite beat an African sunrise/sunset.

Skydiving was also a win.

I can teach you to tie a figure 8 knot. How to develop black and white film. How to make the perfect fire... it's all about the braai. And how to swear in Afrikaans.

Oh yes, and show you the wonderful city Johannesburg (Joburg/Jozi) or take you hiking and/or rock climbing in some pretty breathtaking places.
