ABOUT ME
Definitely that I'm away more than I'm home, having lived in quite a number of places in the last couple of years. And now I'm moving to London, oh dear. And then that I like to have fun I guess, in a 'let's do something we haven't done before' kinda way. Huge fan of trying new things, which is why I like taking people to Delirium in Brussels: the bar with a 1000 beers. Like to discuss and debate intelligent things and don't mind silliness at all. Nobody should take themselves too seriously, although everyone should take others seriously.
Interests
Meeting people, the kind that finds joy in life and tells things I haven't heard before. I spend a large chunk of my time volunteer for an exchange organisation, with which I went on exchange to Thailand myself. Meeting all these fascinating international people, making friends along the way, is the major reason I'm still in it. Intercultural experiences for the win. While traveling, I also tend to avoid the run-of-the-mill museums and temples and rather spend my time meeting people. Although I do like the truly exceptional sightseeing things, like the White Temple in Chiang Rai.
Other than that, I'm an information nut so Google and my Mac are my friends. Heavy on reading. My time in Geneva has given me a passion and skill for finding cheap alcohol that can beat the overpriced ones (tip: champagne is overrated). I like skiing, rock climbing and recently scuba diving. My interactions with all these foreign people have given me a passive understanding of quite a number of languages, but I seem to always lack the time to start studying them for real. Lastly, humor makes my life engaging. Introduce me to a good stand-up comedian or have a style of humor that crack me up and there's little you can do to not make me like you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'd say swimming a metre away from a Whale Shark in Koh Tao, Thailand was definitely my most recent highlight. Looking at the castle I would live in for a volunteer project in Genshagen, Brandenburg, Germany was definitely a wauw moment. Ah, and visiting Tivoli in Copenhagen during Christmas season. I'm a huge fairytale fan and I don't think there's a place in the world that could make you feel as 'fairytalish' than that place.
