About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Pietro, 22. I'm from Mondovì, a small town in Piedmont, northern Italy.

PHILOSOPHY

I've been studying Philosophy, but I don't have my own.
Maybe the two things are linked, who knows.
Years of deep thinking and great questions led me to believe that everyone should care about others, but him/herself too and try to enjoy every moment of life, even the bad ones which sometimes are inevitable.
Everything matters, but no single thing is the most important one, since life is everything at the same time, a flux of complexity difficult to understand but easy to feel, if you try to.

Peace and love and hugs to everyone

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm into this Couchsurfing thing because I really L-O-V-E Italy and I'm always happy to host people going through this country. I pass my time between Mondovì and Bologna, where I've been studying for three years.
I also like to be hosted by locals during my travels, well aware that staying in a hostel or being hosted and carried around town by some local are totally different experiences.

Interests

In my freetime I listen to music, ride my bike (through both forests and urban jungles), read XIX century european books, breed my vegetable garden, prepare delicious vegetarian dishes, and play french diatonic accordion. I really like sports, most of all trekking, cycling and swimming.
I'm planning to improve my spoken arabic (I've studied it at the university for a year, now) and get my french back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Of course, a couch. ;)
- Guided tours of Piedmont (I prefer bike, train or on-foot trips, because they're better for the enviromment. I don't drive cars if possible)
- jam sessions with local hippies
- local politics involvement
- vegetable growing (horticolture) tips
- unasked carbon footprint advices (I'm really into this eco stuff..sorry!)
