Overview
About Me
I'm perpetually bored and looking for new things to do and places to visit. I am a bit of a socially awkward character but I do enjoy meeting new people especially if they have interesting stories to share. I like both staying in, preferably with a good meal and friends, and going out to good electronic music and techno clubs.
Random facts about myself:
I have a bachelor degree in Software Engineering from the University of Glasgow and I am currently pursuing a double master degree with EIT Digital in Human-Computer Interaction & Design.
Walking is usually my means of transport of choice - I can go for hours without complaining (too much) :)
I cook most of my meals from scratch because I enjoy food and I'm a bit frugal - I consider myself "vegetarian-friendly" but in truth I eat almost anything. Not a big fan of seafood.
I enjoy reading online travel blogs, maybe I should start one myself one day.
I am an old-school gamer with a passion for old point-and-click graphic adventures (Monkey Island anyone?).
I am somewhat skilled at drawing although I don't do it as often as I used to.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always liked the idea of both hosting people and staying with locals. I have lived with people from many different countries and they all had something interesting to share.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music
I mostly listen electronic music - from noisy electropunk/techno to more chilled stuff.
To name a few: Crystal Castles, Kap Bambino, Chet Faker, Grimes, CRIM3S, White ring, Jon Hopkins, The Knife, Moderat
Movies
I mostly watch tons of TV series. I'm not really into movies but I like old Italian horror films like Dario Argento's. I also quite like Indiana Jones.
Books
I don't read as many books as I would like to. I like Tiziano Terzani's travel stories and Dostoevskij's Note from the Underground. I like a few graphic novels, namely The Walking Dead and Scott Pilgrim.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Crossed the arctic circle when I was 3 years old with my family.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Italian language
I'd like to learn about anything. I have always had a bit of a crush on everything Asian, I'm planning to go backpacking throughout SE Asia at some point soon. I am also moving to Berlin next year so I'd like to learn some German by then.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share many stories from my university years in Glasgow
I can share tons of recipes from Italy, Scotland, and all over
I can share my playlists and see if you like them
I can share booze, always share booze
