About Me
CURRENT MISSION
It would be fantastic if all countries in the world suddenly adopted the Nordic social model, but in the absence of this simply seeing more of the world has to suffice.
ABOUT ME
I love reading a good book - going out with friends - discussing politics - trying out new recipes - salsa dancing - anything that is a little different from what I did before! I'm interested in science, entrepreneurship, and travelling. I like to play tennis and work out in the gym, and most evenings can be found either practising a hobby or at a pub talking to friends.
My occupation is trading the financial markets from home. The market is an enthralling creature - human and ever-changing, never completely understood. There are more socially useful occupations, but the twists and turns of the market make for an interesting life.
PHILOSOPHY
The world is a fantastic place! Let's live peacefully, take care of each other, and enjoy every moment we have on this planet!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've lived in London since 2007. It's a great place and I would be happy to show you around! A few of my favourite places here are Covent Garden, the City of London, Islington, and Camden, particularly Primrose Hill.
If I'm not available to host, you can always go for a drink with me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No matter how much, it's too little.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Anything surrealist. David Lynch's Mulholland Drive, Christopher Nolan's works, Blade Runner. In 2012, The Artist was really good.
Music: Not a lot. Some classical (looooove Tchaikovsky), some symphonic metal (Nightwish), a few random tunes heard when out and about. I need to get hints on this from couchsurfers.
Books: Been reading mostly non-fiction recently - specifically, law textbooks. Oh, the joys of reading Malcolm Shaw's 'International Law'. Currently I'm reading 'White Tiger' by Aravind Adiga.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm writing this from Thailand. But you would be forgiven for forgetting the tropical beach outside when turning on the air-conditioning. The resulting temperature seems to approximate winter in Northern Finland. Where's my winter coat???
