About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get back to Portland and earn enough money to pay for this trip.

ABOUT ME

I'm one semester away from graduating, been at it for six years. I've made some adventures in Mexico with my best friend who grew up in Baja. Learned Spanish in Costa Rica. I just turned 24. I'm trained in first aid and cpr. I was born in Montana, but did most of my growing up in Portland, Oregon, which is the place on earth I love. Both of my parents were ordained ministers, progressive types, and liberal minded, so I feel I had a good upbringing. I did always resent having to live in the city, so I raised chickens, ducks, rabbits, and goats in my back yard. Eventually my best friend and I built a small barn for them. It is still there, you might see it if you ever sleep on my couch. One time I brought home a Llama I bought at auction for $22.50, it was a poor decision and I don't like Llamas much anymore. I am a friendly person, outgoing and easy-going, and I always clean up after myself, sometimes I clean up after others if their mess bothers me enough. I read a lot, but I'm getting tired of that, I'd like to spend more time in the sun. I love to swim, dance, hike, cook, woodworking, squash, and probably other things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch to offer at the moment. For now I'm looking to find folks in the places I want to travel and make some connections. In the future, when I don't live in a dorm, I hope to have a place to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My brother couchsurfed all over S.E. Asia with his friend and had the best experiences, and introduced me to some of the friends he had made when they came through our town. I was very pleased with all of that.
