Overview
About Me
Love my family, love being home.
I enjoy seeing: colours, landscapes, funny decorations and the people I love.
I enjoy, then; traveling !
Living in France since 10 years ago, I feel a lot of empathy with travelers, and other people in my situation.
I like writing, reading, writing. I also like photograph and filmmaking (even thought I am supposed to do it in a more professional way, I still do it as an amateur).
Dancing is my passion, right now I am into African dance (what an energy thing!).
I like taking care of my plants, singing (eventhought I don't know how to do it proprerly...), playing the ukulele (a little cliché, I know).
The best stories I know are the stories incredible people have told me ! My grand grand father, for exemple... people I've met in airplanes, or at work. These, I like listening to.
I like hanging out with friends in small groups, and enjoy of nice dinners and conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I guess its time to get into the adventure ! I had couchsurfed outside couchsurfing, like when I arrived to Canada. I also experienced other kind of "kindness", when people I met in the streed volunteered to show me the city and local transportation.
In the flat I used to live with my roommates we couchsurfed ? We hosted very nice people.
Then I worked with european youth exchanges, then, my motivaiton to discover the world throught interculturality became BIGGER.
Lets do this !

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: folk music; Ravi Shankaar, jazz women voices. Rock: from blues to Grunge. Ska and punk reminds me my youth, I think I'm still young; so; still in my playlists!
A bit of elektro, like Nu, Nicolas Jaar or Chet Faker. Now getting into the ukulele, influenced by my housband, who enjoys playing the piano home.
Movies: Lola's rent, Mr Nobody, Stand by me, Sophia Coppola, Tom Twyker... I also like comedies, thrillers and series.
I enjoy theatre, but as "foreigner" I should do it more often. I do enjoy music and film festivals a lot !
Books: all but love stories books. Recently reading The Son from Philipp Meyer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing that really makes me smile when I remember it is... volunteering experiences. Non of them has turned bad, never EVER !
Hiking is something I was scared of. Since I began to travel I have been overcoming this fear. The worst (amazing) might be in Cypruss in the "Bains of afrodita". I was sure I was going to fall from the (precipice)?!, I didn't, I felt alive !
My 2016 birthday: great friends in a lake whole day activities for all public (kind of childrem games for adults), from air castles (trampoline), huge water slides, kayak, paddeling, archery, to climbing (one less fear) and scooter.
I will never forget the first time I swam in the sea in the night !
Getting to know my favourite ska band in Calgary. Thanks to the merchandiser I got to talk to them and have some fun after their concert.
Visiting Quebec with my family.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The joy of living, the greatness of little details (home has lots of them), the art of sharing: home, opinions, food, languages, ideas...
I am always opened to meet new people. I guess the situation of being "a foreingner" in a "foreign country" has made us a sharable ideology of living.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, England, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, United States
