Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Know the people, not the places
ABOUT ME
Ok, so first of all I am not the kind of person who would start filling this field saying "OMG, all about me is very difficult!!!"
I am a friendly person who can get really annoyed when something is unfair or someone is being unreasonable, although for me most people are reasonable as I always try my best to understand different opinions.
I like to laugh, a lot. And I love eating. An speaking with people: I usually tell everything about my life to the taxi driver or to the cashier of the supermarket.
And, like everyone here, I love travelling, but I never go to see places but people, their character, their daily life, their culture, their fears and their loves.
This is not all about me but is quite a bit.
PHILOSOPHY
Doubt, always. I might think I am right almost always (like many people) but I always try to see things with another perspective. And I learn a lot.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This year I have decided to travel and it was in my first trip when I was told about CS (actually we stayed with some people we met in the day that turned out to be CSurfers!) So I can't host, but I can be an entertaining guest. And if you don't feel like talking a lot, I will still offer to clean the dishes or iron your shirts (my favourite home tasks)
NOTE: Please this doesn't apply when the temperature is over 35 degrees, no ironing ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only surfed twice but so far it has been a very enriching experience. Wait and I hope I'll have more to say soon.
Intereses
History books, random meetings, Regina Spektor, ice cream, chocolate, Doctor Who (yes, so geek) and days without rain (a miracle here in Scotland)

Música, películas y libros
I am terrible naming favourite things. I am listenig now 'Far' of Regina Spektor, reading 'Iran: an Empire of the Mind' and the last film I watched was 'Barney's life'.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can tell a lot of anecdotes from my experience as a tour guide. For example, one guy once asked why the castle of Edinburgh (XII c.) was built so near the train tracks. That's only an appetizer!
Of course I can teach Spanish, even if you ask for bad words or kitsch songs.
And...I make the best sangria!
