Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We host surfers - we love getting to know new and interesting people!
As I have a youngster I cannot travel just yet, but we really enjoy having travelers staying here with us.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I became a Cs member in Sept 2013, we've hosted over 12 surfers and we plan on continuing to do so.

We appreciate independent travelers (I work a lot so I don't have much time to show them around) and value those who are willing to sit on the floor and play with us.

Although I really enjoy spending as much time as possible with my kid, every now and then it’s nice to have a grown-up to talk to. I like having a conversation with someone that doesn't involve princesses, princes and evil stepmothers, or poisoned apples all the time hahaha.

I thank every opportunity in which my daughter gets to listen / learn new words, expressions or foreign languages. I know that she probably won't remember hosting all these people, but I truly hope she grows up with an open mind, aware that there are other life styles and willing to experience new things.
