CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to welcome people at my place, the Pilgrims' Nest, a place for all travellers on the road, to let them rest their weary feet, to let them absorb the transforming energy of the place and the simple lifestyle, and to bring them (again) in contact with nature and consequently with their own authenticity.

ABOUT ME

I'm from Flemish origin, and moved to France 15 years ago. I'm a pilgrim, an eternal wanderer, a searcher on the path of my own evolution, and a coach for others to do the same.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we live our lives in the first place to remember who we are, and we all are expressions of pure Love, each individual in his or her own way. And in the second place we live our lives in order to be what we are, in other words: to express this Love in our thoughts, our words, and our actions...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have received so much hospitality from people all around the world during my many travels and wanderings, so now that I have inherited a beautiful place where I can live myself, I want to return this hospitality to all who are on the road, and give them the opportunity to stay at my place which is a truly beautiful place with a strong introspective, transforming energy. Nobody leaves untouched here! It's a gift to life...!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In fact during my travels people have been offering me their couches for many years, without organising or planning it ahead. Hospitality is not something newly invented, it comes naturally when people get together.

I like books from Richard Bach, Neale Donald Walsch, Ken Wilber, John Cleese, Paulo Coelho, the book about Peace Pilgrim, and the Anastasia books by Vladimir Megré...
I like all kinds of music, but particularly blues, blue grass, folk and world music.

Been travelling about 45.000 km on my bicycle in different parts of the world: Europe, Australia, New-Zealand, USA, and Canada.

I feel that I can be a coach for people on their individual path of evolution, that my simple way of living and nature around here is very inspiring for many people and takes them to their own (sometimes lost) authenticity.
And I like to learn all that people can offer. I'm open to many new experiences...
