About Me

I live in a Traditional Mongolian Ger(yurt) in the woods of Central Oregon, and I am a coffee roaster and barista at Lone Pine Coffee Roasters providing Central Oregon with specialty coffee. Thus, living a nomadic lifestyle, which has come to me at a young age from moving to Romania at the age of nine for several years, to travels in central america, igniting my passion for coffee, to commercial salmon fishing in Alaska and climbing mountains in the Himalayas. The Last four years, I have made my home base out of Central Oregon where the high desert meets the majestic Oregon Cascades. Yurtlife has been a very fulfilling lifestyle yet without ammenities and running water, a wood stove planted in the center of the yurt keeps a cozy dwelling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

moving to eastern europe, romania, at the age of 9 & living with no electricity, no running water up in the mountains near a village, horse & wagon, got milk from neighbors cow every morning...for almost two years and another 4 living throughout romania, changed my perspective on life. experiencing third world culture...effected my lifestyle in many ways.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you ways to improve your coffee brewing at home and hone in your technique and recipes, simple as weights time and temp, coffee tools and tech for proper coffee extraction.

I can share my Experiences of Commercial Salmon Fishing in Alaska which allows for my Travels & my Nomadism.

As I am living in an off-grid yurt as a base, gaining more knowledge about sustainability, permaculture, alternative energy, green building, architecture, would be wondrous

I would like to learn more about Agriculture & farming, self-sufficiency & sailing the seas. I am Keen on Fermentation, Curing ,and the like. Charcuterie is a fascinating food preservation and I want to learn more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

coffee! I also have a few bikes to get around, or some snow gear to get up in the backcountry. backpacking gear as well if interested.
