ABOUT ME

Clement: I'm someone who like simple things, real persons and food and wine and nature and my girlfriend. I'm curious, open minded and tolerant. I was a social worker, then an agro-environmental advisor but I quit to see the world. What's for the future? Cook in kindergartens!

Marie-France: Oh well... Let say that I'm a willing person. I have reached 52 year old. I am curious and open to people and to what life brings me.

PHILOSOPHY

Clement: To keep my believes about human being even though facts are often discouraging... Tolerate differences but do not tolerate the intolerable.

Marie-France: First of all I share Clement's views. For the rest, I follow my gut feelings and I'm looking for ways to serve humanity with humility and at my scale.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been hosted by couchsurfers once in Norway and three times in Denmark. We were also members of Servas and we have been hosted in Czech Republic by members of this organization. We enjoyed all people we met and we hope we will have request in the near future.

We also hosted many times people from France, Belgium, Slovenia, China, Czech Republic and Canada.

兴趣

Music, litterature, social and environmental issues, cooking, gardenning, cycling, cross-country and telemark skiing, fishing, bird watching... A lot of thing. We are curious.

音乐、电影和书籍

We like very much music and are opened to different styles. From alternative to jazz, to chanson francaise to rock and world music. Maybe the only "style" that does not interest us is commercial and pop music.

Concerning cinema, we have the same attitudes toward movies than toward music; blockbusters are not our first choices...

Books: we like reading a lot. Novels, essays, magazines, etc. Daniel Pennac, Gerald Messadie, Jean-Jacques Pelletier, Khaled Hosseini are some of our favorite authors.

We lived for almost three years in Inukjuak, a small Inuit village of Northern Quebec. We learned how it is to be member of the visible minority. Cycling from Norway to Italy (2007).
