ABOUT ME

I'm 5'9''. Short hair (usually) Canadian nationality with a 'Canadian' accent, I guess. I'm a personal trainer, by profession, at a private gym. I'm pretty easy-going, always up for anything and everything. I love dogs!! Have a Great Dane and two Dachsunds. Hilarious to see them standing beside each other, as the two wienerdogs are the size of the Dane's paw. They live with my parents, now, though. So no worries if you're not so fond of quadripeds. I actually like all animals... except snakes.. snakes are gross..

I have yet to participate. Right now all I can do is offer my couch. Can't wait to get started!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not experienced couch surfing at all yet. The way I heard about this program is my friend, Axel, uses this site religiously to travel around Canada(he's from Germany) and I thought it was brilliant. He said that I am perfect for this site b/c I enjoy meeting new people and am very friendly. So I thought, why not!

Interests

I'm a very active individual and I do like to travel a lot. I enjoy camping, winter-mountain sports, ANYTHING in the sun! Hmmmm... what else... OH! I LOVE to cook. I also went to chef school and am always trying to learn something new in the kitchen. My specialty is french crepes! I do enjoy going out and having a good time with friends at a bar or club. I'm kind of a neat freak as well. I like a clean house bc I get all stressed if it's messy. I love sushi and anything that has to do with breakfast (ie. bacon, pancakes, waffles)!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pretty much all movies. I'll even watch scary movies, though I much prefer humour. That being said I think I'm the only one of my friends whom has yet to see 'The Hangover'. LOVE cartoons too! They always make me smile.

Books, where to start... I like historical fiction. I HATE Twilight.. though I understand the fixation people have to it. For my own leisure reading, I like fantasy novels (ie. Eragon, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings) LOVE Tolkien. I think he is brilliant and I see a lot of the same qualities in Christopher Paolini's (The writer of the Eragon Series) writing. Tolkien was a better and superior scribe, but Paolini expresses the same devotion through the detail in his works as Tolkien had for LOTR. Wow... That sounds so nerdy when you write it on paper.. I am so so no proud of myself right now..

Music: I'm woefully ignorant as to what is popular these days. Truthfully, I find it difficult to listen to most new artists.. Though when I go out I find I like a lot of the DJs in Toronto.
