About Me

My name is Pim Bokhove, a Dutch journalist in the making who currently studies in Göteborg (Sweden) for 5 months for an exchange-programme and who spends most of his money on travelling.

People mostly describe me as a kind guy, who is good in telling stories and listening to persons! I am always in for a conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is too big, the amount of my bank account too small. Besides that, I'm really in to adventures and meeting new people. My exchange-programme in Sweden has brought me an insight in to a lot of cultures, and I think that is really interesting. I would like to get a view in more cultures, and the best way to get in touch with locals is couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of house and deephouse music. Everyday I try to look up new songs which are released by the best DJ's of the world, and you won't see me so often on the street without earphones, haha!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Lapland, in the north of Sweden, I have lived in a cabin for a week in the middle of nowhere. The closest supermarket was an hour walk, and I lived without flowing water. I had to take a big spoon and a bucket, to get water out of the frozen lake. It was amazing to live crude for a week, without Wifi and busy streets.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you:
- the do's and don'ts in Göteborg
- a mattress, a pillow and a blanket. What do you need more?
- a nice stay, close to the city center of Sweden's second city!

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
