About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel around the world. At least one country each year. Make friends all over the world.

ABOUT ME

I am a quiet person, like a simple life. I'm curious, always try to figure out how things work. I'm introvert, so I am more of listener. I believe in instinct. Not ambitious is my biggest shortcoming. But I like to travel around, get to know different things and people.

PHILOSOPHY

keep it simple and straight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have traveled Alstralia and Mexico before covid. I stayed with CS hosts for most of the trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The trip was wonderful and all the hosts made it so.

I can't describe how wonderful every host is, and thankful to that experience and changes they brought to my life. I only hosted two guests so far. Once I am settled and get my own place, I'd like to host more. I'd like to have a homestead, living off grid.

Interests

I like to read, listen to instrument music, mostly traditional Chinese instruments.

I like all the outdoor activities, hiking, cycling, kayaking, walking around, picnic... skating, Canada has a long winter, better take advantage of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Winged Migration & Microcosmos & Himalaya
(nothing can compare with the beauty of nature), since I am in Canada now, Margret Atwood is my favorite author :)
I discovered Ann Patchett recently :), such a wonderful writer. Truth & Beauty is the best book.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being: Milan Kundera
100 years of solitude: Gabriel García Márquez

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a small garden. It's amazing to see they grow and produce. Nature is the most incredible thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

exchange my Chinese for your English/French.
Travel experiences, life stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are interested in Chinese culture, I will try with whatever still left in me after 14 years away from that country. I have traveled most of Canada, read a lot of local authors.... I am interested in anything. I am sure you will find me a good listener.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Cuba, Mexico, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
