ABOUT ME

Bitten by the Travel Bug

On the night of my 21st birthday, my bestfriend asked if I wanted to go to Baguio to celebrate because, poor me, I’ve never been there. As a birthday gift, she said bus fare was on her. All i needed to do was say ‘yes’. I thought she was kidding.

She wasn’t.

Armed with my backpack, off we go to a bus station at 2AM to go to Baguio (10 hours travel from the city). It was that one spontaneous out-of-town trip that started it all. Since then, I was bitten by the travel bug.

From that time to present day (August, 2011), I was able to go Boracay, CWC and Caramoan in Camarines Sur, Bicol, Potipot, Anawangin, Capones, Nagsasa, and Magalawa in Zambales, Pagudpud, Laoag, Paoay, Batac, and Vigan in Ilocos, Lucban all the way to Tagkawayan in Quezon, and last but not the least in Coron, Puerto Princesa, and El Nido in Palawan. And I’m telling you, I’m remotely very far from being done with the 7,107 islands of the Philippines!

Now, I’m very excited to go visit some other places/countries too starting off with Southeast Asia.

I've touched one sea anemone tentacle, yes, that soft coral where Nemo (clown fish) lives! It's like a mini vacuum for a split-second!
