About Me
Can sometimes host :) but prefer to meet up. Please check "My home" before requesting!
CURRENT MISSION
be kind, never stop learning and also have a wicked time :P
ABOUT ME
Aussie Chinese girl living all around the world!
I consider myself to be a curious, adaptable and open-minded individual, who is always learning and trying new ideas and meeting new people.
I'm an explorer with an insatiable appetite for learning about the amazing world around us. I love to eat, interact and talk about the future. CS is a means of micro globalisation and I'm delighted to be part of it. You and I... we make the world a more connected and empathetic place.
PHILOSOPHY
We only have one life, so make it a meaningful and joyous one.
Try to see from others' perspectives even if they vastly differ from your own. It really expands your worldview!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
- CS hosting whenever I get the chance
- introduce the CS platform to CS virgins.. and convert them hehe
- being hosted by mostly awesome, passionate people!
- CS meetups worldwide
Interests
Alternative lifestyles and countercultures: whether you are or aspire to be an artist/digital nomad/adult entertainer/psychedelics researcher/first human on Mars, I want to hear your story.
I'm a passionate foodie: dining out, street food, fresh food markets. Anthony Bourdain is a hero of mine.
I like to dance: music festivals and underground dance music scenes. Jazz, techno, live rock, experimental..
I like to be with nature: swimming, hiking, working out (but could certainly do with more motivation!) Shall we go on an adventure?
Recently, into getting in touch with my spiritual side. Meditation, mindfulness and being more conscious of what we eat.
Reading all sorts of genres and learning from countless smart people. Does that count as a hobby?

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: rather eclectic. Melodic techno, deep house, indie, classic rock, oldskool funk, 80's pop ballads. Super varied!
Movies: SciFi, Hollywood classics.
Books: Personal Growth. Business. History. Investigative Journalism. All types of fiction. Cookbooks and how to books. Actually books in general.
TV: I try not to watch it, but I do love shows like Black Mirror, Peep Show, Stranger Things (that soundtrack)

Teach, Learn, Share
I found CS'ing to be enriching and exciting for a traveller's soul. It's not about finding a place to sleep but experiencing life through the eyes of a local.
