My mission lately has been to learn guitar, to live the slow moments, and to be all that I'm inspired to be.

ABOUT ME

I go by Magpye. I'm 18, in school, attracted to all aspects of design. I'm inspired by the bohemian ideals of the Beat generation, and I love the adventure of travelling. I drink tea, smoke rolled cigarettes, wear glitter. I'm vegetarian and I cook delicious food, like pie. I like music ^^ and wry humour.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My house is open to chill people who want to hang out, stay a night or two and see Santa Cruz and the West Coast, and trade some awesome stories. I'm also going to be going to london in June, and it would be chill to make some connections in the UK :]

Mmmm, bookwise, I will always be in love with Chuck Palahniuk, vintage dystopia like Huxley, and anyhing else whimsical enough to catch my attention.
Musically... Well today it's the Dresden Dolls and the Grateful Dead.
And as for cinema... Amelie, Hard Candy, retro/retro inspired horror, and of course the stoner comedy ^^
