ABOUT ME

I traveled/hitchhiked quite a bit, by myself or with a friend. I love mountains. But I am a really slow hiker or walker compared to other long-leg busters.

oh, even thought I traveled quite a bit. I wasn't as independent as you might think.

p.s.I really like reading cs profiles, it's like reading another life.

Hitchhiking + CS is the way I meet different people who otherwise I can't meet.

oh, btw, my majors were communication studies and psychology. Will be graduated in 2014 with my master of social work degree. Then I can save the world with a legit title.
Update 2017: Currently I work as a counselor providing psychotherapies in a university setting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my old profile, I couchsurfed twice before, once in 2008, the other one in 2009. We were hitchhiking, drivers were so nice that we were invited to stay in their houses. I have stayed in more drivers' houses than couchsurfers' houses. Those two expriences were really good.
Then, I surfed alone in portugal and spain.
Then, me and my friend surfed in norway.

Then, me and my friend did a hitchhiking/couchsurfing trip more or less around europe and we were hosted by so many nice people! Thanks a lot for all our hosts who saved us!

Interests

travel, but not just travel travel. polaroid, photography, hiking, hitchhiking, indie folk music, books if I still have the patient, play with my niece and nephew even thought I get annoyed with them easily, travel stories. astronomy, cooking if I know how to, farming if I know how to, helping strangers, There should be some more.......
Tibet, and any remote area.
I want to know more about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies? I watch a wide range of them. trying to watch movies from different countries, not just standard hollywood ones, actually, I am quite tired of hollywood now. Always in searching for ridiculous movies, but no, no horror movies at all.

music? used to like metal and all that stuff. and then indie, folk, and all kind of soft stuff. and now, music as background music, well, still an indie fan I guess. really like "Stars" if you ever heard about them.

books? don't read anymore, I still think that I should read more though. I used to read a lot a lot a lot of novels. I also read some budhism, well, tibetan budhism books before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

reading/studying in my living room in the winter/summer afternoon with sunlight coming through the big window. What a peaceful life.

Empahty is hard and the textbook says that knowing more stories from others can help to be empathetic, so here I am to learn from your unique stories.
