ABOUT ME

I'm a German living in France - with all possible consequences (that means, first of all, always missing German sausages...), quite a dreamer, I would say, but never too far from reality, always suffering from farsickness and planning my next trip, a hopeless chocoholic, definitely corruptable by a good scoop of Ben&Jerry's wonderful icecream, never stopped being amazed by the small things in life (Hey, look! A butterfly!), love animals, rather ecologist than consumerist, hydrophile, a woman of action concerning social projects, growing a vegetable garden on my balcony, love knitting, but unable to knit wearable clothes, sometimes too shy, but ready to stand up for the really important things, hate being underestimated, always looking for new challenges and - after all - I am much too diverse to be described in only a few sentences :) Expect the Unexpected... ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's important to think positive.
My philosophy is to be satisfied with what you have and make the most of it.
Try to see and experience as much as you can and never stop letting the small things in the world amaze you.
Treat people the way you want to be treated.
But don't take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My hosting experience makes me a better guest and my experiences as a guest will make me a better host (I hope...) So far I have hosted much more than I have surfed couches, which is no problem for me at all.
This summer I won't travel at all, because my job will keep me busy in Rouen. So I would love to receive people in the flat I share with my boyfriend to get some fresh air into the house :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some great people through CS, even my boyfriend... (Yes, we know, Couchsurfing in NOT a dating site!) But there are still sooo many people left to meet.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I would like to write that I have travelled a lot and seen even more, but unfortunately I have travelled less than I would have loved to...
Currently I try to find my way in France, and no, even for a cheese lover who is not afraid of the French language it is not always easy!

As you always learn and teach just by meeting new people I have a lot to teach and also a lot to learn. I like learning stupid little unimportant things you would not mention here :)
I just started teaching myself to play the piano, so I would be glad if someone could show me some tricks. Although I think I'm a challenging student and much too impatient...
