ABOUT ME
I've been living in San Francico for the past 5 years. I work in community mental health as clinical social worker, and when I'm not doing that I'm fluffing my cats, doing yoga (yin/hatha/restorative), and exploring different adventures and communities.

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy my time on this planet. To me, rejoicing in the fact that I EXIST makes me glad to tears. I love meeting new people. I don't want to waste a moment, but I'm not afraid to smell the roses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Probably the most useful thing I have done for CS is that I've told probably a hundred people about its existence. Not only that, but I have many converts who had told me they were afraid to couch surf because they were suspicious. I am a passionate PR agent for CS and have helped many understand that this is community works because many kind, wonderful people make it work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

SO far, pretty minimal. We host friends/friends of friends/travelers frequently here, but not officially through CS.

Interests

I am passionate about non-violent communication, social justice, psychology, restorative justice, feminism, and capitalism alternatives. People fascinate me. I also love psytrance, klezmer, and Balkan music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything strange, interesting, makes you think. Master and Margarita. Anything by Dostoyevsky. Anything profound, psychological. I can appreciate music/books/movies that are very dark and twisted- if there is a deeper point to be made.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a REALLY big volcano in Indonesia.
