ABOUT ME

I am a passionate, sensitive, fun loving queer Latina woman. I love music, art, dancing, film, fashion, healing modalities, food, sharing time with community and creating genuine experiences. I want to enrich my knowledge of the world through encounters with people from different walks of life. However, I'm deeply committed to social justice. I hope to experience life in a way that is respectful of others and values multiple modes of existing and being.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been part of couch surfing for a few years. I developed beautiful friendships and experiences through couchsurfing. I maintained those relationships outside of the website. My partner and I live in Oakland and are constantly hosting. We want to connect with other travelers who share similar beliefs and passions. I do believe that participating in the program is part of a larger collective movement that has the capacity to change the individualistic mentality into a communal one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

People have opened their home to me before. I also have opened my home to travelers.

I stayed in Rio de Janeiro with a local Carioca who was the sweetest person and treated my friend and me with such great respect that it's been a memorable moment ever since.

There's nothing like being exposed to a culture and city by a local, somebody who is truly part of that community.

兴趣

Latin American Music! Dancing CUMBIA, merengue and punta. Learning and teaching new things. Reading the magical realism genre, decolonial theories, cooking, food and health related . Watching innovative and creative films with an actual plot. ART! Eating!!! and cooking.
