Btw. I am a very ordinary and local student from Hong Kong. Born in the "international" city, raised there in a grass-rooted family without much international contact before I come to study in Germany. A girl who makes everything like adventure as well as a just-do-it person who happens to enjoy nature. I like the simple and liberating feeling when I am out of civilization. On the other hand, I am always reflective of being human and try to examine what do we think, feel and do. Fact is great to study but people for me are even more fascinating with all the different values, beliefs and life. I enjoy community experience a lot when I go traveling, the ordinary lives of ordinary people.

CITY??
I grow up in a metropolis full of aliveness, so I learned to realize that a land is made alive by the people who rooted their life and wrote their daily story there. A city is a collection of memories of the people. The best way to explore and understand a place to me is through the eyes of a local or getting lost alone on the streets, and be accidentally led to a peaceful corner!

I like to explore the unknown and to meet diverse people along the way. I see life as a series of adventures moments. When I was in a new place, I enjoy sitting somewhere in the local community, observing how the people interact and share their public life with each other. I enjoy sharing my trip with interesting international travelers and even more amused by sharing part of it with the locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No craziness, no fascination, no unbelievable story and no unreachable life experience. I shared precious time with a family living in the slum in the Philippines, with time spending with a lot of kids in the village ;) I remember we played together with every simple thing; every morning when I woke up tens of kids surrounding me and calling me for some little adventures. Believe me, they are amazing. They played a ball making of the frog skin and I met a teen telling me his story. It is not like an international traveler telling you their crazy stories and fascinating ideas. It is about an ordinary person in their situation with deep fear and desperation. They are the same age as mine. On the other hand, I made friend with another girl in the same village and I learned a lot about myself from them. It is the most ordinary story constituting the most touching moment.
