About Me

UPDATE!!!
I'm living alone now. So I had a changed of routine. I work night time and sleep during day time. Unfortunately, I don't have much time and energy to host (plus my place is tiny and messy now) so I'm open to meet people to have deep conversations, connection and laughter. I'm kinda into some philosophy, psychology, topics about life and some travel tips in PH. I visited 73 out of 81 provinces in Ph with my ex and some Asian countries from 2017-2018. I finished the remaining 8 last year, 2019. I got a lot of pics and vids of our travels. I can show you some.

PS. I don't have time to revised my profile here so sorry about the old bio.

We prefer to host women.

I believe that if you'll have a connection with people beyond superficial, you'll make friends for life and memorable experiences.

I'm always curious about things and ideas, people's feelings and experiences.
I wanna understand how things work, how people feel about doing certain things or about certain situations.
I always wanna try new things out and see how it feels :)
I easily get hooked to deep thoughts and conversations, life and experiences, art like music and photography -- anything that conveys emotions and stories.
I wanna be an expert in playing ukulele :) as of now I can play and sing few songs.
I love to sing, I don't have the best voice but I enjoy it so who cares, right?! :)

Full of extremes!
----
I grew up in the Paradise of Palawan, where people are very nice and friendly and the place is very clean.
Had a basic and simple life (and I love it; Palawan is my comfort zone), rough childhood as well yet survived college and got a degree in IT through a scholarship.
I moved to Cebu to explore, visit and experience other places than what Palawan can offer. I actually haven't visited a lot of places in Palawan yet coz when I was younger, I want to travel with friends. But when I moved to Cebu, I appreciate the fun of going to places alone and just feel the beauty of the place and meditate about life, away from the city center.
I'm still in Cebu but now with my boyfriend who I actually met thru CS. I hosted him for a couple of days and we clicked in many ways, so I guess he had to return to me. haha (He actually got a job offer when he visited Cebu last November 2016, went back to Denmark but was so excited to go back :) We met again after one month, even tho he will not start working until 1st of March.)
I hosted few people and friends and some were able to write me back a reference. But I haven't tried to surf yet and my boyfriend wants me to experience CS this time. I'm excited to meet hosts and new friends and talk about experiences, culture, and history :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's not easy to find a person who you can connect with deeply in a short period of time. I wanna have more of deep and smart conversations about life with openminded people who rather spread positive energy.

I wanna meet travelers and share stories and experiences, learn from them and give them travel tips about the Philippines and all the places I visited in the Philippines. I wanna share the beauty of the Philippine archipelago, even especially those places which haven't heard much (becoz those are the nicest, unspoiled places).
I wanna learn about cultures and be more aware of people from the other side of the world.
I personally like the company of travelers, becoz they are these people who are experienced (exposed to the world), down-to-earth, open-minded, artistic, and have a lot of ideas about life. They are social and decent people. It just feels nice to be with nice people around you, sharing laughter and experiences and company. I like the feeling. That's my experience in CS so far.

Interests

I love music. I don't know everything about music but I love to sing and play my ukulele which is actually a gift from one surfer. I like adventure travel and camping. It's not boring in any way :)
I also like to troubleshoot software or hardware problems. It feels like solving a puzzle and of course, I'm saving someone's laptop or my laptop.
I'm fond of photography.

I'm a "foodie" so please mention that word in your request for me to know that you read my profile :))

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Paramore
Movies: A Guy Thing, The Ward
Book: Summer Sisters by Judy Blume

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived College thru a scholarship I got.
I decided to move to Cebu, to a place where I don't know anybody, I don't understand the dialect and I don't have my own place to stay. I don't know anything about the place, I don't really have savings and I don't have a job yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some simple and easy ukulele songs.
I can cook for you if I'm free and teach you some Filipino recipes I know.
I and my bf can share our facilities in the house.
We will do our very best to hang out with you or show you to some places in the city.
We'll give you travel tips and places to visit around Cebu and Philippines.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I and my bf can share our facilities in the house, feel free to ask. Just be clean please, coz it's a shared kitchen and living room. The shower is inside our room, so just knocked if you think we're at our room. Wifi is a complicated issue, so I don't think we can offer you much of an internet connection but sim card is always available at the nearby store.
