About Me

At the beginning a bit shy and quiet person who can't talk just to fill the space of silence but when I feel accepted by people who surround me, I become open, lively, cheerful and yeah, sarcastic.
I like to observe people around me and the situations that I'm involved in.
I don't miss people much but at times I get painfully nostalgic.
I can adjust myself to people who are surrounding me, but that doesn't mean that I don't have my own opinions and personality.
I am a visual person, extroverted introvert, occasional clinomaniac, cinephile, coffee drinker, daydreamer, a good listener.
Currently, I am based in Berlin, Germany and I love it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Good times.

I surfed a couch for the first time at the end of April 2010, but I've spent some time with couch surfers when my roommate hosted them. We went on a trip with my car, we went out for a drink in Ljubljana or just stayed at home, cooked a meal and discussed by bottle/s of wine or beer.
I started hosting people from the end of January till about June 2011 intensely.
Since I moved out of my apartment in Ljubljana I can't host anymore, sorry.

Interests

Images - mostly film, but not so much from the technical point of view. Cinema is my temple.
Design and illustration and everything connected.
Music inspires me to draw and write stories or short scenes.
Love for cooking and especially eating vegan food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just to give you a short glance at what I prefer:
Sånger från andra våningen, Persona, Mario Bava, La Dolce Vita, contemporary European movies, black and dry humor, some Lynch, obscure. Directors and filmmakers who don't take film just as entertainment but as a study of humanity and art or documentaries through which I can explore new cultures and (social and environmental) topics. But nonetheless, sometimes there's nothing like watching Seinfeld, early Simpsons, something witty, sharp and sarcastic.

Music is a mood. I listen to many genres, from the (French) '60s to the EBM (not to be confused with EDM) and mostly everything that has at least some elements of electronic music. The range between all these genres is pretty wide but ok, favorite could possibly be Portishead and let's say ... Broadcast. Usually, I listen to one of the non-commercial radio stations, so I can hear a wider range of old and contemporary music. Sometimes, my ear still entangles in pop music. Hey, why not?!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I'm sure I've done and seen bunch of amazing things, but my slovenian modesty doesn't let me express it out loud. Ha!
