My name is Pio! I am from the east of the Netherlands (Twente), but now live in the beautiful city of Utrecht.

From March 2022 up untill July 2022 I am travelling through the beautiful country of Canada. I say "yes!" to maple syrup, hockey, Tim Hortons and bearspray :)

I my spare time I like sports, travelling, spending time in nature, and any type of outdoor activity! I also like to cook, build or restore things and I love to go to the cinema!

I treat others in a way I would like to be treated myself, which means I will always try to be respectful, honest and will try to communicate as clearly as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling and meeting new people gives me a lot postive energy, couchsurfing enables me to meet local people through which I can truly get to know a country. They can show me the best places in there area, make good friends and share their experiences.

I would like to offer the same hospitality to others that I've received all over the world. Meeting as strangers, leaving as friends!

I've seen the most beautiful nudibraches while diving.

I lived and travelled in Australia for almost a year, for the most part living out of a car!

I've driven a Caterpillar D6 Bulldozer!
