About Me

Hi!

I'm Piotr, traveller from Krakow/Poland. I've had a chance to travel around the world quite a lot and met thousands of people on the way who made those travels really unforgettable. I don't get to travel as much as I'd love to due to my job these days but whenever I get to take a few days off, you'll find me on a low-cost plane, with a backpack and tons of places on an itinerary. Chances are I'm probably planning one of those trips right now. ;)

Besides travelling, I get to work in an awesome startup back in Poland, teaching people how to use beacons (not bitcoins ;-)) and making their experience a great one. After work, you'll find me cycling or playing board games. And plenty more! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is all about people and meeting locals is my absolutely favourite way of exploring new destinations. So CS for me is a way to meet locals, learn about their culture, get unique tips and unforgettable memories. And I want more and more of these! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I found a 50-euro roundtrip flight from Italy to Tokyo. The only issue was that my stay in Japan would last for... 1 hour. I didn't think for a second and booked right away. So I flew to Japan. I didn't even leave the airport, almost missed my flight back. Would I do that again? For sure.

So im apparently an expert in budget travelling, cheap flights or sleeping in weird places so would love to share my knowledge ;-)
