Hi I'm Piotr from Poland and I would like to travel to your country :)

Currently IT student and half-time working as IT Consultant. Apart from that I'm easy-going dreamer that can spend hours laying on hammock and staring at clouds.

A friend of mine and I tried hitch-hike trip to Amsterdam. We met a lot of people and from that time I knew that I want to spend all my free time on travelling through the world and meeting different people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two years ago me and my girlfriend were in hostel in Prague and we join group of people to drink some beer. Guy from USA, girl from Thailand, guy from Hungary and us from Poland. These cultural mix caused that we spend whole night talking and I really liked it.

Last time at party I shared this story and somebody told me that he had experience this kind of meeting a lot because of couchsurfing. So I thought, why not give it a try. And here I am

Interests

TRIP ORGANIZATION
From 2 people to 10 people; just weekend or 20 days; sea, mountains, city sightseeing. I love it! Started with a little help from my traveler sister and now I'm making every part of plan: plane searching, local transportation, accommodation and the most important "what to do in this country?".

COUNTRIES THAT DOESN'T EXISTS
For now I've been in two: Transnistria and Kosovo. My current target is Abkhazia. People in these country are not often visited by tourist but when they see one, they are very friendly and always share interesting story. Also this is a challenge to get into these countries that I really enjoy.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I think I like rock the most: punck rock with The Offspring or Blink 182 and indie rock with Imagine Dragons. But at the same time I simple enjoy radio music.

MOVIES
In free time I watch a lot of Netflix series. For a movies I'm big fan of LOTR and MCU.

BOOKS
Fantasy! From Howard and Tolkien, throu Herbert and Lem to Pratchett and Sapkowski. When I was younger I read books all the time. Now I'm trying to read minimum 1 book per 2 months

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I traveled from Kosovo to Serbia airport. I have a rule to not bring both passport and ID card on the trip so I had only my passport. Unfortunately, because Serbian doesn't recognize Kosovo as a country, in order to cross the border I needed my ID card. So here I'm, on the border that I can not cross, with something about 24 hours to my plane. I find some guy that took me to his car and with crazy speed bring me to Kosovo capital for the last bus. Then I went straight to Macedonia and from there finally to Serbia. It all happened so fast that I even managed to drink a beer with my before we went to airport.
