Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because my girlfriend and I are traveling Europe in search of adventure, good times and lovely people. We're traveling on a tiny budget so are in need of kind hosts that will accept doodles, designs, cooking and laughs as payment.

Interests

Pip- My primary interest is design and creating art in many forms but I am also interested in poi and juggling, skating and of course interesting conversations about anything and everything.

Delilah- My interests are reading, making artwork and jewellery, writing poetry, knitting and crochet and cooking and sharing creative vegan/vegetarian meals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pip- All time favourite Music has to be Bob Marley, Sublime, Misfits aaaaand madness, but I love so many more types and styles of music and always happy to find something new.
Movies is tough too.... think my favorite film is Lords of Dog Town but again there are so many amazing films to see
I'm not much of a reader, but I enjoy the works of Terry Pratchett.

Delilah- My favourite music genres include reggae, ska, soul, folk, electro-swing and a tiny bit of trance house beats.
Favourite films are many but include Into the Wild, Everything Is Illuminated and Darjeeling Limited.
Again favourite books are too many to list; I enjoy Isabel Allende, anything Kerouac, Ginsberg, Scarlett Thomas, spiritual and path-seeking books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pip- I designed the placards and banners for the Green party of England and Wales bloc of the anti austerity protest on the 20th June 2015

Teach, Learn, Share

Pip- I can teach a variety of artistic skills including digital design, life drawing, wood carving and a number of print making techniques.

Delilah- I am qualified to teach English as a foreign language. Also happy to teach vegan recipes of my own design, basic knitting skills (making socks ha) macrame bracelets.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pip- I can share my artistic and design skills with my hosts and would be happy to produce design work if needed. I can also perform fire poi which can spice up a party or event. I also make a fairly decent omelette (free range of course) among other dishes.
