CURRENT MISSION
To escape the 9 to 5 and see the world!
ABOUT ME
So many of my friends are settling down, getting careers, buying houses and getting married. I am definitely not ready for that. I'm 26 and it seems like the pressure is on to grow up. Well, I'm not going to. I'm going to run away!!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover - Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is such a great way to meet people, and to get a local's insight into their city. I have had some amazing, unique experiences Couchsurfing that I would not have had if we had stayed in hostels, and I have loved it :)
Interests
I LOVE a bit of history. I am very interested in Ancient Cultures. I also love learning about other modern cultures, the daily lives of people on the other side of the world. I also love music with a passion. All kinds of music, from indie rock to salsa. I love experiencing live music across the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
I would say I have very diverse taste in the arts. I like books and films that are out of the ordinary and don't follow the usual set pattern. I like to be surprised. It's pretty difficult to narrow it down to just a few...
Music wise I love all sorts. Some pop appeals to me but I mostly love anything with guitars. Rock music, heavy metal, folk music, country music, indie and punk. Frank Turner, The Decemberists, Brandtson, Against Me!, Belle & Sebastian....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Pick one? Hmm. Well I spent a few weeks volunteering in an animal sanctuary in Bolivia and that was incredible. Cuddling happy monkeys, medicating sick monkeys, building things with bambooo.... It was a great experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to be able to learn a bit more Spanish. I know some but I want to learn more! I'm afraid I don't have any marketable skills myself. I do make a good English breakfast though.
