About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling to Study Passive House and Energy Efficient Design in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Germany, England

ABOUT ME

I love the ceremony of drinking tea, cooking with native plants, learning regional cooking techniques and drinking excellent wine. I am one that wants to "taste" everything. And mostly I want to taste the things that are other peoples "most favorite treat"

I admire service, the care that people take to take care of each other, the way we give other people an experience of food, music, art and friendship. But I am also completely willing to throw all of that out the window grab a piece of bread and catch an opportunity to do something completely different.

While I am traveling I am open to all things, and my answer is of course always Yes please...

I am here to celebrate and obliterate patterns.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect, Truth, Ceremony

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've looked at this question so many times and I am still uncertain how to respond.... Because it seems that for one "to participate" one must simply open oneself to "participation". This generally means being on guard against your own judgements/behaviors and to actively put away your preconceived notions of traveling, experience or your daily plans, and open your concept of experience to "the way things unfolded". Not a religious view point, though understandable akin to many types of thought. But it is certainly on solution to disappoint and doubt.

This is not a simple lesson to actualize.
But I believe it is a sound goal in the Art of Participation.

My most active form of participation is getting to know people by developing trust and being open to, successfully or not, an environment that is safe enough for both people to share intimate details of their growing and travel processes.

We are all working on some part of our self. And I think it is fascinating to learn what people hide or blatantly expose in their personality. Not a judgement. Just a very keen understanding and learning experience to what levels of development people are actually able to achieve or simply dismiss in their concept of their lives....and then make some space to laugh about it without embarrassment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Pure-Genius...I'm tremendously enjoying getting socially, culturally and psychologically "worked"...

I love humans...they crack me up... ;)

Interests

I am deeply interested in honesty, equality and commitment. In my creative life I design spaces, shoot films, challenge my photography. I adore excellent cuisine, new and unusual ingredients, healthy laughter and witty company.
