About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work, Work, Work so I can travel, travel travel!

ABOUT ME

I have done rather a lot of different things, I have studied animal science, lived in North Queensland, moved to South Australia worked in marketing, Studied teaching, travelled from Beijing to the UK worked as a teacher, got a job as a tour guide and traveled Europe in big circles all summer, volunteered in Africa, gone trekking in Georgia. By far the most rewarding part of travel is meeting and getting to know locals, so that is why couch surfing is awesome! I am a biology teacher studying a Masters in Environmental management and am about to embark on a 6-month journey through South America.

Share, Grow, Love, Laugh

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By joining the CS project I hope to be able to expand the network of places people and experiences that link everyone together. I hope to be able to share my own country and region whilst meeting new people as well as meeting others and sharing experiences with others in their home ocuntry

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with some wonderful people in Europe, and have hosted or caught up with a few CSers as they have passed through the town I was living in back in Aus. Have been a bit quiet on the CS front of late as I have been living in a very isolated area for 2 years and have not travelled all that much.

Like a broad range of music- generally, follow the indie/folk scene
Also like a broad range of movies- Probably less fond of gun/car action movies- but that's generalizing!

I know it's a bit obscure but I know a lot about the Horse Racing Industry, I have worked in it for a while and it has always been an interest of mine.
I know a lot about farming and agriculture because of Uni and my upbringing.
I have lived in a wine region so know a bit about wine.
I know a decent bit about health and nutrition, natural science, and animals.
