ABOUT ME
My name is Henner but I also go by Pipo and you could say that I am a typical South Floridian: I love the beach, I speak Spanish, either a cold beer or chilled drink is a must during a hot day, and anything below 70 degrees F. I consider to be cold! I have 2 great sisters who you will most likely be meeting as well
Most recently I've begun working in good ol' corporate america and have been co-running a non-profit with my business partner and sister..... while doing all this i'm still figuring out what it is that i want to do when i "grow uP"
I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, and just meeting people from all parts of the world. If there is one thing we will all take with us it is those experiences!
IF YOU DON'T HANDSTAND IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!
PHILOSOPHY
Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, how you leave others feeling after having an experience with you becomes your trademark.
Become friends with people who aren't your age. Hang out with people whose first language isn't the same as yours. Ge tot know someone who doesn't come from your social class. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow.
Imagine a world where the words you speak appear on your skin. Would you be more careful of what you say?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have met people who are surfing in my area and several I now consider great friends!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All of the people I have met through couch surfing have been awesome!
Everything from showing my city to surfers, sharing my dinner table, walking the streets of NYC during the day and falling on them at night and many other scenarios has made couch surfing worthwhile.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have been a very big reader and I enjoy everything from a biography to Harry potter (yes I read the series), but most recently I've gotten in tune with all of Paulo Coelho's books as well as Og Mandino (If you are looking for some guidance look to him!)
I listen to music from the moment I wake up to the moment I get back in bed. When you walk into my house you can hear anything from salsa, alternative rock, house beats, bosa nova and the list goes on. I am a melting pot when it comes to music!
I enjoy watching foreign films especially French ones
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to a beach party along Barcelonetta for the Verbenas de Sao Joao and making my way back to to the center of barcelona, las ramblas by foot... all i can say is "the people you meet along the way" lol
Sandboarding with no straps attached in Ica Peru
Teaching financial literacy courses in Rocinha, Rio's largest favela
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a bit about financial literacy, a couple latin dance moves (I will be modest I am no expert), spanish, a quick 15 min. work out, how to open and serve wine!!
My LEARN list is sooo long but I have a lot of time to go: surf, languages (french, portuguese, italian, etc...) capoeira, wake boarding, cooking (I know breakfast, grilling, and steaming so far!) and the list goes on.
To me one of the best things I can share is the dinner table, nothing beats a good meal and bottle of wine, not to mention the dirty dishes
