ABOUT ME

Hello lovely people. My name is Siobhan and I am currently living back in Shenzhen, China doing voices for cartoons and studying Chinese on the side. I absolutely love meeting new people, travelling, having adventures, appreciating the little things in life and just generally having a fun time. I look forward to meeting and exploring this amazing world with you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch Surfing seems like such an amazing project. If I think back to all the times I was travelling and would have loved to have met some local people who could show me the real city/village....

I love the idea of showing/being shown around a place by someone who really knows it well. It's important to get to know the real culture as well as see some really cool underground places...and make friends with people from all over the world :)

Intereses

hanging out in the travel book section of book shops dreaming of all the places I long to be, learning Chinese, acting, jumping and dancing on my bed, having picnics, watching films with sweet popcorn, riding a bicycle through China, reading all kinds of books, making up children's stories in my head, bubble baths, drinking colourful teas in little cafes, baking cakes, listening to my music in an airport and pretending everyone is in a music video....

I love any movie with Audrey Hepburn. She is beautiful and so cool.

I love jazzy, indie, poppy, funky, folky music. Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Smiths are my two favourite bands of all time.

I am in LOVE with Haruki Murakami. I love all books.

I did the world's highest bungeeeee jump in South Africa in 2007. That was pretty cool. I played with lions in Zimbabwe. I saw the Yeah Yeah Yeahs live...for free!
