I was a fickle, naive, tidy and even finicky person BUT ALSO enthusiast, highly idealistic, shiny, confident...
Now I am the happy wife of a wonderful australian guy!
To say with Pirandello's words:" I'm a one, a nobody, a hundred thousand people"!
I WISH I could be immortal.
I KNOW God keeps on smiling on me :-)
I HOPE to be able to travel almost all around the world...and beyond!

PHILOSOPHY

It is dangerous to fly high, but I do not like flying low..
(PS: Why penguins have wings? What for to have such short wings in life?)

Interests

Reading. To remember what i read i also write a brief summary/commentary after each book...: I've already reached n.873, no kidding!)
Religion: as the way to live a meaningful life. In my opinion there are only two ways to be a true person: to believe in somebody else and be faithful/ or to trust on oneself and be an anarchist.
Love, respect and care for animals (but not vegetarian yet, though minimising meat consumption and only from local farms) and Nature, because with all our
power we can easily destroy a grub, but never make a butterfly of it...

Like riding (horse, bicycle) and jumping (kangaroos ;-) and sailing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Old romantic american movies (the ones with Gregory Peck, Cary Grant, Paul Newman...☺️ )+ horror and science fiction + of course the all serie of Astrid Lindgren's "Pippi long stocking"!!
All music except classical, jazz and blues; like folk music from every Country; prefer italian singers such as Luigi Tenco,Francesco Guccini, Pierangelo Bertoli, Lucio Battisti, Fabrizio De Andrè, Massimo Ranieri, Enrico Ruggeri; love Jim Morrison, Adamo and Sacha Distel, but my very best will always be Julio Iglesias (as you see I'm quite ecclectic!...).
What to say about books? They are my very best friends, the only thing, along with travels, I could not live without. Writers who influenced my soul:Kerouac, Hesse, Coelho, Kundera, Sartre, Kafka, Shakespeare, Pessoa, Baudelaire, Keats, Hemingway ( It's hard to stop listing); among the Italians: Pirandello, Tamaro, Fallaci, Maraini, Barrico etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled under water (submarine), on water (kayak, motor boat, sailing boat, cruise ship), over water (plane, helicopter, hang-glider, balloon)...well.. and on land too! :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

To Teach: Swedish massage.
How to believe in fairy tales ( especially "The Frog Prince" and "Sleeping Beauty"...eh eh)
How to be a perfect PIPPI LONG STOCKING at any age!!...
To learn: All the many things that I don`t know.
To share: My burning desire to journey life with hungry curiosity (when I'm back on Earth.. as my best friends say I usually live on the moon!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Now the thing is, I'm not using CF much a part from checking the web once and then as my husband is very busy working and needs rest when back home.
But I love the concept and I am an advocate of CF and though actually living in Australia, I come back to Italy every year to visit my family, usually in summer, where I still have a house on my own and I will be happy to host there instead.
I can share my time, as I am not working , and meals and my knowledge of the area and maybe even local trips.
