About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling and trying new things!

ABOUT ME

I love food, drinks, movies, music, books, and television. I am pretty laid back and easy to please. I like to try new things and go new places! I have a Yoda backpack and am an aspiring ukulele freak.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. I am always up for talking about anything philosophical or theological and love to learn from other people, and hopefully you are too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm all about meeting new people and being able to explore! Haven't been involved too much yet, but excited to try.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but I have met several people on my adventures who have hosted/been hosted and LOVE it! It seems really awesome.

Interests

I was a sociology major in college, so I'm obviously interested in people. I like to do or try just about everything. I'm a huge nerd when it comes to Tolkien, Star Wars, or Star Trek and I watch too much television. I'm also a pretty serious contender when it comes to trivia, darts, or Kings.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Lord of the Rings and Batman. That's all I need.
For music, I love punk all the time, but am also into more mellow, Sufjan/Iron & Wine type stuff.
For books, Wendell Berry, Kurt Vonnegut, Tolkien, CS Lewis, and any/all classics are my jam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I flipped a plastic cup off a table and it landed in another cup.
Another time I won a tackle box at a raffle during a fishing derby.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a novice ukulele and guitar player. I speak terrible French and Spanish and know the complete sign language for Angels We Have Heard on High. I just learned how to shuffle a deck moderately well and I occasionally knit!
I want to learn how to crochet, purl, play the banjo and mandolin, and tie cool knots.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Ireland, Italy, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United States
