ABOUT ME
I'd like to think I'm easy going who is a family orientated type of chick, and loves spending time with my mates.
Was born in Africa, so travelling has always been ingrained in my blood. Travelled to Costa Rica / States / Canada for a month with my Mum and sister when I was a teen...amazing! Travelled around Europe with sis for 6 months in 2011 where we were able to watch the Rugby World Cup in Toulouse , France for the final...which of course our All Black boys won!! ;)
In 2014 I went to South America for 5 weeks with the family, which was absolutely mind blowing. More recently, in June 2015 I spent 10 days in Bali, which was a nice change from being in our wet wintery country!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget the ones who dont and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a couple CS'ers with my sister while we were living together, and they were such awesome people.

Whilst travelling around Europe / Morocco, we were able to the surfers and met some great locals who showed us great hospitality and their favourite local hidden gems, away from the tourists!

Interests

Well where do I start! Love the outdoors as I was raised on a Farm with alot of pets over the years. As I was raised at the top of NZ, we are surrounded by beautiful pristine beaches (best in NZ we think!) so I am a real water baby and love the ocean!!
Love catching up with family and friends when I can, usually over a few drinks - typical kiwi style!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love my music, so anything goes. Love our local reggae bands Katchafire, 1814 and Ddub, and also ledgendary Bob Marley. These guys are my faveourite summertime listenings! Best listened loud and singing along too on the long drive north!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This was my most memorable....travelling to Costa Rica at the ripe old age of 15 and spending New Years on the Carribean Coast at Limon. Sat on the beach side with Mum, Sister & friendly locals having a good time.

However, this has now been surpassed by visiting Peru and completing the Salkantay Trek into Machu Picchu. Most amazing place I've been to yet. Totally unreal, and an absolute must for anyone visiting Peru!
