ABOUT ME
I live in Kerava, near Helsinki. (25 min. by train)
I will be happy to host you since now I finally have a big flat -> hosting is possible for me.
I have been in South Africa as an exchange student. It was a fantastic time, and it made me want to have more friends from foreign countries! So I`m quite excited about the CS community. I`ve been volunteering in a youth hostel, so I have experience of travel guiding :)
I have graduated from the University of Turku. My main subject was education. My goal & dream is to become a study counsellor (careers adviser) in the future.
PHILOSOPHY
The meaning of life (for me): To do things that I am interested in doing (without harming anyone, of course), to gain new experiences, to meet new people and learn something from them, and to enjoy life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
by hosting & travel guiding if needed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed once in Spain, Barcelona (see the reference below). I`m so happy my first CS experience was such a positive -it gave me trust and motivation to do it in the future, too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: drama (the more depressing the more I like...), horror
Music: Sinead O`Connor, Portishead, The Cranberries, Julee Cruise, Apocalyptica, Sarah Brightman, The Pretenders, Nightwish, Alanis Morissette, Kate Bush, Björk, Rajaton, world music...
Books: Barbara Kingsolver (Poisonwood God) & Amy Tan (Joy Luck Club) are my favourite writers. I like to read books about different countries & cultures. I also liked Arundhati Roy (The God of Small Things) very much. At this moment I`m reading Antonella Gambotto`s "The Eclipse: A Memoir of Suicide" which is also one of the most impressive book I`ve ever read.
