About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To resurrect after death *** joking, of course *** Does anyone have a current mission?

ABOUT ME

If we asked your friends about you, what kinds of things would they say?
Ask my friends or if you wish I'll ask them to write something about me. I'll be too subjective.

PHILOSOPHY

As a professional philosopher I don't like questions on personal philosophy. Too complicated to explain if there is such thing as personal philosophy, or maybe there is no other (probably worthless).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There is 7 billion people on this planet and a lot of places where you can feel like at your own house. If we just take our guard down and feel ready to meet other people like real humans (not some strange enemies), there will be much more joy in this world. That's why I'm hosting and I hope other people are doing for the same reason.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled a lot but the greatest trips in my life was going to Romanian seaside. My friend Ivan and I traveled for 16 days, drove 2500km, drank countless liters of beer and came home penniless.

Everything started on Trenchtown (music festival in Palic forrest, Subotica) when I presented an idea of going to Romanian seaside that summer. Ivan like idea very much and after a lot of unsuccessful arrangements with other friends, only two of us left.

Trip started without visas, which we than needed for Romania (or any other place on Earth). I read on some forum that you can get visa in a day but in consulate we founded out that only in emergency cases (death or something like that) you can get visa in three days, otherwise you wait a week. We got visa same day using arguments like "we didn't know" or "but we paid for hostel from today onwards". Actually we haven't paid for hostel. We needed a cover for our staying in Romania for 15 days and I asked personnel of hostel to send me a bill for 15 days, and we'll stay for two days. They agreed and we had that covered. Other days we slept in car and two days in camp. For all 16 days we had ONE shower with warm water and slept two nights in beds. All we needed, we had in car: butane bottle, grill grid, tent, sleeping bags, rakia (but we haven't drank that because it was made from chicken shit and we bought it in one village), knifes, chopping boards, garlic... Until the end we had wheel-trap and lower the ticket by negotiations, Ivan was robed in hostel and only document which wasn't stolen was his passport but his camera was stolen and we have no photos from whole trip, and on exiting Romania we founded out that our visas expired yesterday (it was 2 AM but those two hours are very important for them) and we have to pay a ticket but they let us to go after a little conversation.

Romanian coast isn't much, no one wanted to hang out with us (maybe because we were only foreigners on whole coast), we missed to go to Vama Veche because we lost our map in a mess in the car and people told us it's party place for youngsters, Ivan was robed, and so on, but still that's the best trip I ever had. That freedom of going where ever you wish because all you need is all the time with you (like snails) is amazing. Only thing that we had to do were showing up in hostel on arranged date and getting out of Romania on determined date.

That's all I have to say about amazing thing I've done.
