Overview
About Me
Travelling has inevitably and gratefully been a big part of my life journey. I am originally from a small town in the North-Eastern part of Thailand. Then went to Bangkok and London during my undergrad studies, did my master's in Helsinki and Stockholm and now finally getting myself settled in the beautiful city Vienna (at least until the next couple of years where I'm currently doing my PhD) . I've been exploring a considerable part of Europe and will always love to explore more. The European diversity never fails to amaze me :)
With all these experiences and journey, I have relatively been westernised and get along very well with European people, yet I have the South-East Asian from the inside. I love cooking and eating Asian food :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My experiences of travelling to a new place, aside from seeing new architectures and various natural scenes, meeting people is a big part of it. It is always great to get a chance to know locals and exchanging ideas and experiences, and develop friendship along the way. :)
So I think CS is the best way for it! It's about sharing after all, not just a space, but also experiences.
Interests
I was trained as a physicist, then turned myself to more of a computer scientist, so I'm the real geek. But when it comes to travelling then I'm pretty much into history and cultures as well as economics of the place and could talk about that for all day!

Music, Movies, and Books
I recently came across a very good film (and book) that had triggered my enthusiasm of stepping away from my comfort zone every now and then and explore more of the world, and I'm talking about 'Into the Wild' (2007).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayaking and camping on an island in the north of Norwegian sea (June 2015). Forgetting about the society for a few days and blend myself to one of the world's greatest nature is something I'll keep telling my children.
Teach, Learn, Share
I developed my Thai cooking skills a lot after living in Europe and will be willing to share it with anyone! I also enjoy learning cooking European food!
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Smile (yes I'm from the so-called 'Land of Smiles')
- Cooking (Thai food of course :D)
and in return,I will be willing to host or guide you through Vienna, or even Bangkok (when I'm around)
