ABOUT ME

My name is Carly and I just graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. I'm majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Latin American studies. I´m really friendly and tend to get along with everyone I meet.
I'm not an angry person, in fact most of the time I can't stop smiling. I love just walking down the street, wherever I happen to be, and seeing people smiling or laughing because it just gives me such a good feeling! I do get really passionate about politics though, and angry when I think about what's going on in this country and abroad. I'm really into talking with people about economics, politics, foreign affairs, literature, music, food, animals, their day, poop, hair color, life, etc. En todo caso, soy una persona muy agradable y sincera. Me gusta vida en general y todas las cosas magnificas en este mundo; especialmente me gustan a personas que me ponen contento. Quiero ver todo y encontrar la gente del mundo. Sin embargo, la cosa ultima es pasarlo bien!

I like a lot of movies-anything fantasy is always fun, like LOTR, Harry Potter, Princess Bride, etc. I love Boondock Saints, Shawshank Redemption, Forest Gump, Fight Club, Lock,Stock,and Two Smoking Barrels, To Kill a Mockingbird (both as a movie and a book), Braveheart, Indiana Jones,etc. I love to listen to all kinds of music! I listen to classic rock, alternative, folk, bluegrass, classical, indie, punk, hip-hop, etc.; Some faves are the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews Band, Dinosaur Jr., Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jack Johnson, Tracy Chapman, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Wilco, Pony Bravo, Ryan Adams, Simon and Garfunkel, Doc Watson, Woodie Guthrie, Nas, Lil' Wayne, Kanye, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Lupe Fiasco, Blue Scholars, Talib Kwali, Immortal Technique, and last but certainly not least, Pearl Jam. I read what I have to for school and like both non-fiction and fiction when I read for pleasure. (Garcia Marquez, Kurt Vonnegut, Hunter S. Thompson, Henry David Thoreau, J.K. Rowling, Ernest Hemmingway, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Dan Brown, John Grisham are some faves).
