About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I hope to travel the world and learn more about other people and cultures! As a human rights and french major, I hope to expand my knowledge of human rights problems and find creative ways to fix problems.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy? Hmm....Well I grew up in a very liberal, Unitarian Universalist household, so I guess my personal philosophy has to do with caring for others, personal growth, and human relations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I'm still in college and have hardly enough room for myself and my sweet roommate, I have no place to offer a potential Couch Surfer. Once I get out of college I plan to be a fabulous host with lots of food and conversation to offer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just joined CouchSurfing, so I'm trying to get ready for my first trip to Montreal. I look forward to many great adventures in this crazy and interesting world.

Interests

I'm interested in volunteer work, making the world better, learning french, reading, hanging out with friends, music, and cats. I love to travel and, unfortunately, I've only been to France twice and Mexico twice. I am currently studying abroad in Dakar, Senegal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 12 wonderful days in Paris with a friend and I've been to Mexico twice to study the effect of NAFTA. I hope to see/do many more amazing things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about certain human rights problems such as the economic problems associated with NAFTA. I am very interested in Women's Rights and working with men to end the cycle of domestic violence. I would love to learn about any culture that is out there, different perspectives from women, and the French language!
