ABOUT ME

I am Carles, from Spain. I have been using cs for many years using my expartners profile. We had around 30 to 40 hosts and guests there... So even this one looks empty ive got loads of experience!

In life i could say my job is to be a choreographer. I have a small dance theater company back in spain... But besides performance i like to keep it real also, play music, travel a lot, laugh more, question things up...

Back home i have a tiny house with a funny kitchen-toilet-shower all in one. It's fun, we can have a shower while cooking and the other in the toilet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to stay in touch with Cs community even the ruotine here in Amsterdam is really demanding and not always I feel energized to host people. Anyway I try to give advise or tips to whoever asks for it even sometime I can't host. By travelling I have meet really interesting people and got to see an alternative way of approaching turism.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like hosting when I am disposable 100% for it. Sometimes if I'm too busy I rather don't host people and not be able to have a dinner or a lunch, or more than a 20 minutes talk. Also by living in Amsterdam and receiving so many requests per week I am selective and choose who I could hang up with better.

mine: i like people interaction, generally. i like fluidity, i enjoy serious conversations, i enjoy nonsense conversations too... when im tired of my though-chain i go to the body and shake it. i like pleasure. i like to move around even though i dare to start (for the 4th time) new studies in Holland and I'm stucked here, at least one more year. i consider myself a post-hippie, that became a cosmopolitan sybarite... that is considering what to become next. genderwise i'm within the same struggle

Music, Movies, and Books

i realized recently i just watch movies on wintertime, isnt it great? something like 2 per week. wow, that is something like 2x4x8 months of dutch winter= 64 movies per year! wow! so 3 years already here 190 movies. in spain lets count only 6 months of winter so: 2x4x6=48 per year. if i count something like from when i was 15, thats 10 year that means 480 movies. total movies oh la la, more than 500. sometimes i like maths :)

should i choose now a list of 4 or 5 out what potentially can be 500 watched movies?

no im not going to do it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A year round on the road travelling in Asia and spending less than 2000 euros.

Diving in Flores, Indonesia.

Living for 4 months on a mini-van in a paradisiac island, sleeping everyday in a different place and under a different sky.

Trimbakeshwar, temple n.8 of the 12 sacred temles dedicated to Shiva. Gangotri ganges beginning and other breathtking Indias adventures

I also went to Jupiter once
