About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to be the best dad

ABOUT ME

My name is Pit and I'm a luxembourgish guy, living in Mamer, Luxembourg with my fiancee Zsófi, who's from Hungary. We've been together for almost 4 years now and expecting a baby in mid october. Therefor we won't host for the moment (only emergency) but won't mind going for a drink from time to time. Which, I guess, will be harder once the baby is there, at least in the beginning.
We are open minded people who like music, art and travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

There are jerks and cool people all over the world. You only live once (as far as we know)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not so much for the moment but maybe later again. We hosted quite some people in Alicante.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly very good. We first couchsurfed in Japan, mainly to avoid high hotel costs and were rewarded with a whole new experience. Back in Alicante, where we used to live, we then hosted some 20 couchsurfers over the year. When we moved away from ALicante to Mamer in Luxembourg, we couldn't get anyone to hist us in Brcelona or Nîmes, our stopover places. Maybe, Zsófi being pregnant didn't help.

Interests

Many: History, especially the agricultural and industrial revolution periods; science, I don't know too much, but some parts of it fascinate me even though I don't really understand them, like string theory and how to obtain energy from salt water. Politics, because it influences a lot of our society and is usually badly done. Zoology, for whatever reason I have quite some random knowledge about animals. And gardening. I'm so much looking forward to living in a house with garden again.
Sports and cars not so much though (allthough during the last EM we had a great time watching football matches and celebrating).
