ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year geek who loves the outdoors and the inside of a computer. Just graduated from school in Hawaii and now living in Austin TX. Easy going, sense of humor, no drama, clean.

I took part in Up With People a few years ago, traveling around the world for 6 months with 110 people from 31 different countries. We lived with different host families each week and I became hooked on meeting people.

My love for traveling culminated when I biked 4141 miles across the states from New Jersey to Portland. This was the best 73 days of my life. Traveling cyclists or bike lovers are more than welcome. I can also help with your bike repairs before you set off again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to live a simple life, traveling the world and meeting people who do amazing things. I lived in Austin for the past 2 years and hosted as much as possible. I'm now traveling for as long as possible bringing my smile into other people's houses.

Interests

Laughing, Creating, Reading, Photography, Web Admin, Miniature Architecture, World Traveler, Skydiver who's license has expired due to the poor jumping conditions in Hawaii, Retired Beatboxer who is destined to play the Harmonica, Rock Climbing wanna-be, Coffee Shop Fiend who only drinks hot cocoa, former Up With People cast member. And yes, I roller-blade, well.

As of lately, I have been extremely interested in cycling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performed in front of 50k people, exiting to fireworks and cheers. I remember that being an extreme natural high.

Lived in a house of decedents of Samurai. All 23 generations buried in the backyard.

Biked across the country.

Got my skydiving license when I was 18.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about photography, anything tech'y, photo/video editing, bike repairs.

I love to learn about Japanese cultures, language. If you can teach me anything, I will be your sponge to soak it all up!
