About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to maintain all of my skills especially the ones i forgot about.
ABOUT ME
i am a human being, which makes me more interresting than most things on this earth. I'm at the University of Sussex, I study International Relations and French, but currently doing a sabbatical year working for the students union.
PHILOSOPHY
errrr...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i want to meet and learn from new and interesting people, i want to challenge myself and expand my worldly knowledge. I love that this project creates a web of interpersonal connections throughout the human race, stitching up and strengthening this organism that we call the world. a positive aspect of globalisation i suppose. pah pah pah. surfed quite a bit and am now hosting a bit too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i reckon it's like organised hitch-hiking but in peoples homes. same principles which i'm all "thumbs up" for. get it?! i surfed all round europe with my lovely friend Olivia and we had only positive experiences. we shared this account and were couchsurfing buddies. But now the time has come for her to get her own, but the references apply to her also. Hostels are boring! (generally)
Interests
en ce moment, i like the simple pleasures of life; food and eating together, a nice meal with a nice glass/ bottle of wine...(each) Love live music of any kind, and being absorbed in to it in the moment, because sometimes recordings just don't compare. i love to dance in any given manner. have 40 winks. swimming (but never in public swimming pools cos they are gross.) crap jokes. The internet is a wonder to me, wikipedia. fires. being female. old people (especially really bitter grumpy ones) a good book;(currently Jack Karouaks' on the road). Cider. playing poosticks. peter pan. porridge. postcards. kissing-gates (not kissing gates). old things. inventions. smoke in the air. mulled wine. typewriters. night time train journeys. squeezing spots. coffee making teapot things. ginger. notes and letters. stories. noise. quiet. the spoken and the written word.
