About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being kind, keeping it real, listening with my whole self, and lighting people up.
ABOUT ME
I am an eternal optimist with a reverence for nature. I love life and having the luxury of spontaneity. I was a classically trained opera singer who performed from the age of 14. I have an oddly high pain tolerance (according to my midwives and tattoo artists). After I left the corporate world as a wine and spirits rep, I became a hiking tour guide and coordinated Ayahuasca ceremonies on Oahu. I currently live between upcountry Maui and Honolulu for up to 2 weeks per month, however you're more likely to spot me in our pine tree forests than on the beach. The rest of the time I travel to the mainland to visit new communities and learn what I can from the people I meet. My former nannies help run my little brick & mortar well-being sanctuary while I'm traveling. I'm blessed to be a mom of two, co-parenting like a boss.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyday I wake torn by two desires- to improve the world, and to enjoy it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A key part of my journey is about the quality connections I make. When I'm wearing my practitioner's hat: I simply aim to serve the humans as a catalyst for spiritual awakening, growth, and transformation. The rest of the time I like to experience music that plays to my heart strings, nature that stirs my wolf soul, and meals that I will joyfully reflect upon forever. This requires a solid routine of self-care and mindfulness.
It is both my pleasure and kuleana to share my authentic gifts with you. So whether I am on my way to your neighborhood, or you happen to find yourself called to visit us on Maui, I eagerly anticipate our meeting.
I count my blessings that I am still here, getting to enjoy the mystery of life.
The journey has gifted me with many challenges; each one has helped me to perceive more beauty and blessings with new depths of gratitude. As a result, I find myself jolted back into the present and with cranked up intuitive abilities.
I started hosting before I even knew there was such a site. I miss it, as my current travel situation is not one that allows me to be in one place long enough to host.
While my home-base is on Maui, Hawaii, my beloved resides in Gothenburg, Sweden. While we spend hours together on video chat each day, we look forward to co-creating opportunities to close that 12-hour time gap with a new destination for an adventure.
Interests
I am committed to working for myself these days. I love what I do so much... I facilitate deep trance meditation journeys and I pair people with energy-protecting tools created by my late friend. Over the years I've periodically packed up part of my business and began sharing what I do at various Wellness expos across the US. Some friends call me the "dmt light lady". It's a great nickname. My two little boys (ages 5 and 8) are the highlights of my life. Mini-metalheads who also like to dance and sing like their momma. I LOVE animals and children. My 27lb Mainecoon kitty is named Wolf, and I taught him 9 tricks. Like him, a direct way into my heart is through my stomach. I love spontaneous celebrations, singing to plants, eating spicy flavorful foods, fresh fruit, single malts, red wine, dancing with myself, finding rainbows in strange places, forests, full moons, wolves, candlelight, caverns, watching epic movies at home, and... I can turn a smoothie into edible love. Currently I am navigating the adventures of being a co-parent, and so far it's working out.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a large variety of music including metal, rock, classical, meditation, country, dance, electronic, folk, Celtic, latin, and children's songs. If it pulls at my heart strings then I probably enjoy it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 11:30pm I entered a Peruvian hot spring on crutches, when I left I could walk without them, and I climbed Montana Machu Picchu the following day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I get fancy with a blender. I'll whip up one of the best tasting smoothies if you dig fruit. Meditation (via light and sound) is one area I have pioneered throughout the US these past 8 years, and I'm more than happy to educate or facilitate.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am the kind of person you can open up to about anything, without worry or fear of judgement. I keep it humble, real, and I love to listen and learn. Some say I have an uplifting presence. If Celtic lullabies move you, it would be my honor to sing a song I've written. If you decide you are open to try out the light meditation experience, I always travel with my Roxiva RX1. My kids have been meditating under my Pandorastar with me since they were nursing or in my belly! Sometimes referred to as "DMT light therapy", I travel everywhere with one of my lamps. It flickers at varying frequencies while you simply close your eyes and listen to music on headphones which I'll provide. As every individual is different the positive effects varies. Imagine all of the benefits you would have access to by achieving deep meditative states for sustained periods of time. I recommend discovering it for yourself before reading too much about it beforehand, because the way in which I present it is unlike anything else others may be doing with it. It is an experience which many say is difficult to put into words. The only people who I cannot share the light meditation experience with are those who are photosensitive epileptic.
