About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To inspire other's and share happiness and smiles wherever I go 😀

ABOUT ME

Well..what can I say.. I am a peaceful person with a kind heart who is in love with life! I used to get really passionate, frustrated and irritated by the world and it's capitalist societies, I would forever be on my 'soap box' ranting on about saving the planet, water levels and bee's.. then I discovered Vipassana meditation which has helped me to find peace with all the chaos in the world. I qualified as a Nurse in England and after becoming increasingly disillusioned by the national healthcare system (NHS) I headed off into the world, backpack on my back to get soul medicine through travel. I settled for a short time in England and studied Holistic Therapies then I got itchy feet once again and traveled some more (it's addictive stuff).. Autumn 2014 I decided to became a full time nurse/sailor and set sail into the sunset to sail the seven seas! Since landing back on dry land last year I have been volunteering on farms through the WOOFING and HELPEX networks meeting like minded folk, learning about living off the land.
This summer and last autumn I have been working at a centre using horses for psychotherapy in the Cotswolds UK. I am always up for an adventure in whatever shape or form it comes in! I love exploring avenues old and new and especially love change ❤️

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you want to see in the world (Ghandi)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am unable to host at this time as I am currently nomadic and not in a fixed accommodation myself! I have previously been involved in hosting couch surfers at a shared house with a friend in England, I have always thoroughly enjoyed meeting such diverse, interesting folk and making them comfortable, sharing our home, good conversation and delicious food

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My housemate and I back in England hosted some wonderfully interesting couchsurfers! I spent some time couchsurfing in the uk, mainly on friends couches, a friend surfed my couch for a while after a travelling trip. From my experience I have learnt the importance of to respecting other peoples space, to give freely without question or judgement and also to leave things exactly how you found them! I couched surfed in Morrocco and was overwhelmed by the generosity of my hosts and their family.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a tv although I do enjoy watching interesting documentary films and nature documentaries on the internet. I love all kinds of music but thoroughly enjoy folk music and especially music my friends play, or try to play! I also love music with a base line that I can have a good old stomp to! Preferably through a big sound system in the woods!! I really enjoy reading spiritual books and fantasy. And also reference books, ones I can dip in and out of. I'm a book fiend! I especially enjoy reading and being read fairy tales!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a night sleeping on a Mayan Temple in the jungle of Guatamala.. An incredible experience!

Oh Yeh and being at Burning Man Festival 2013.. Wow!!

I have been living in a 1980's converted Austrian fire engine on an old carpet mill site in England.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach folk about all the random things I know in life and all the little pearls of wisdom I have collected along my journey, it's hard to write them in this little box but once we get chatting and conversation flows freely I won't feel so fenced in and the wisdom and knowledge will be free for all to enjoy!
