ABOUT ME

Hi. This profile is set up under "my" name Malia, but really Malia doesn't come without "Max."

We're a couple. We met at the university 5 years ago and haven't been separated since. We've been married 3 years.

Malia is from Oregon, USA and Max is from Seoul, Korea. We're living and teaching near Nagoya, Japan now.

We work hard and spend a lot of time just chilling and relaxing and really love eating and cooking great food.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. I have hosted exchange students when I was a student, and been an exchange student myself. I know the anxiety and the excitement from both sides.

Currently appreciating the Wonder Years, I love Lucy, Pan Am, Parenthood, Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy... the list goes on...

Interested in evironmental activism, nutrition, natural and Eastern medicine so I usually read books on that subject. Max is interested in alternative architecture.

1) Visiting Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima 2) Going to great hot-springs in Oregon, USA 3) Fun camping trips with friends. 4) Inuyama Castle a short ride from Ichinomiya is great!
