I currently have moved back to the US after teaching abroad in 3 countries over the past 4 years

I have hosted more than I've surfed. All my hosting and surfing were in Europe. These were usually my favorite nights of traveling

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great times getting local guides in places all over Hungary, Munich, and Poland. Plus, I got to explore my own city many times when people from all over Europe stayed with me

Interessi

When I travel, my favorite thing to do is eat & drink where the locals eat & drink. I brew my own beer, but not enough to support my habit. I love to be active on my trips and love to advice from locals I of course love to travel and dislike cold weather

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I have lived as an American teaching English in Thailand, South Korea, and Hungary. I have seen much of Asia and many parts of Eastern/Central Europe. Places like the Great Wall of China, the beaches of Thailand, rice paddies of Philippines, the DMZ in Korea, cobblestone of Prague, and the castles of Bavaria standout the most to me.

Living in these different places has helped me understand the cultures more than just passing through as a traveler
